Michael Garrity

Michael has been employed with PA Rural Water since 2025 and is currently the Source Water Protection Specialist. Michael has over 18 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Prior to PRWA, Michael served as Supervisor, Chief Operator, and Operator for Westmoreland County, Conemaugh Township, Brunswick County in North Carolina, Water System Solutions, and Gray Area Water. Michael has the full-range of experience from backhoe operation, to computer operation, to management and planning. Michael maintains a water system operator license class A & E subclass 7, 8, and 12, and wastewater system operator license class A & E subclass 1 and 4.
