The need for Public Utility personnel to be able to communicate to their customers, their community and the media, risk communication; a science-based approach, is a necessary skill. This course designed by the EPA’s Drinking Water Academy addresses such issues as source water concerns, regulatory decisions, crisis and emergency response and reduced customer confidence.
